Moles

Moles are a common problem in lawns and especially on athletic fields because of injury. Many myths exist as to how to get rid of them, so here are two viable options:

  • Trapping: purchase a trap at TSC and do it yourself.
  • Mole Gummy Worms: a more recent desired solution that you can do yourself, keeping it all underground, in which only a small amount of the active ingredient is utilized to knock out a mole. This worm is placed underground in a fresh run and must be placed without touching it so that your scent is not on it. Pulling a cork out of the run enables one to replace the cork over top of the worm. Upcoming rainfall can dissolve the worm. Most box stores sell this product for homeowners use.
